How we work

Careful work. Clear finish.

Most of what we do never fits neatly into one category. It is a list: a light fixture, a sticking drawer, a loose railing, a fence board, a caulking line in the bathroom. We would rather come once and clear the whole list than have you call four different trades for four small things.

What it costs

This is where our $50 minimum matters: one small job does not have to justify a whole trip. Group a few items together and it is usually the same visit, which is the cheapest way to buy our time.

Questions we get asked

Do you do electrical work?

Only permit-exempt like-for-like swaps — replacing a light fixture, a ceiling fan, a switch or an outlet cover on an existing circuit. New circuits, panel work, wiring changes and anything requiring a permit must be done by a licensed electrical contractor in BC, and we will refer you rather than touch it.

Is there really no job too small?

Correct. The $50 minimum is exactly so that a fifteen-minute job is still worth calling about. Small jobs are a large share of our work and we are not going to make you feel bad for booking one.

Can you look at several things in one visit?

Please do it that way. Send us the list up front, we will bring the right parts, and you get the whole thing done in one trip instead of four.
