How we work

Drywall repair is the job we get called for most, and the part that separates a good patch from a bad one is texture matching. We repair holes, cracks, water-damaged ceilings and popped seams, match the surrounding texture, and paint so the repair disappears instead of announcing itself under the hallway light.

What it costs

A single patch with texture and paint is typically a one to two hour visit. Larger ceiling repairs need mud to dry between coats, so they usually run as two short visits rather than one long one — we schedule both up front so you are not left waiting.

Questions we get asked

Will the patch be visible?

On a textured wall, a matched patch is very hard to spot once painted. On a flat, glossy or deeply coloured wall, the honest answer is that a patch can catch the light at certain angles — in those cases we will recommend painting the full wall corner-to-corner and tell you what that adds.

Do you find the leak too?

We will trace an obvious source — a failed fan vent, a loose supply line, a roof or gutter problem — and we can fix those. If it turns out to be inside a wall or in the building envelope, we will tell you rather than patch over an active leak.

Do I supply the paint?

Either way. If you have the original can, that is the best colour match there is. Otherwise we will pick it up and put it on the invoice at cost.
